I2DT
Intelligent Interoperable Digital Twins
Project description
Digital twins have become established in industry to better understand, analyze, and maintain complex systems and processes like production machines or combustion engines. In this regard, there is a growing need for software solutions that support the construction of intelligent, interoperable Digital Twins of large-scale physical or cyber-physical systems. I2DT aims to develop a framework for specification, implementation and deployment of customised Digital Twins that reflect complex processes and systems. It allows the interoperation of Digital Twins which use large-scale heterogeneous data and complex interactions. Results will include efficient model-based and pipeline-based development methods and tools, as well as a unified base architecture for federated twins and advanced life cycle and operations management support.
