
RoT Studio
RoT Studio provides solutions in the XR/VR field in three different ways. RoT Studio offers solutions with its own developed products, RoT Designer and RoT traineR. Additionally, the company provides customised solutions tailored to customer requirements, as well as ready-to-use solutions in the fields of occupational safety, risk management, and medical training.
RoT STUDIO product family offers a comprehensive VR/XR solution within the scope of Industry 4.0 that allows for design, design review, maintenance, and procedural training on virtual spaces without any need for physical prototypes. It helps minimise errors in physical environments, leading to significant cost savings in production.
With RoT Designer, the first module of RoT STUDIO, users can set up VR/XR scenes by importing 3D models (both 3D CAD and Visual) without any coding skills needed. Textures can be assigned and materials can be defined for imported models. Users can enhance realism by adding light, sound, 360-degree videos, and 2D videos to the scene. Teams from different locations can meet in the same VR scene to conduct design reviews using RoT Designer's free-hand tool without the need to travel, and take snapshots of the design review. Additionally, the voices of the participants in the design meeting can be recorded, the session can be saved for the next design review meetings, and it can continue from where it was left off.
Our second module in RoT STUDIO, RoT Trainer, allows users to create procedural VR/XR training scenarios for maintenance and assembly personnel without any coding by using graphical nodes.
To make it easier for users to prepare procedural VR/XR trainings, abstracted graphical nodes are used. Within this abstract, three types of graphical nodes are developed:
Supporter Nodes: These are structures where the end-user receives audio, written, and visual guidance related to the task.
Task Nodes: These are graphical nodes associated with the objects in the scene produced with RoT Designer, containing predefined tasks, such as touching, grabbing, snapping, etc.
Command Nodes: These graphical nodes contain structures such as animations, sounds, and videos that will be executed before, during, and after the tasks
When customers don’t want to develop their own; RoT STUDIO team can develop custom projects tailored to customer’s specific needs. These projects integrate VR/XR technology with real hardware and motion platforms to fulfill customer specifications rapidly. This speed is attributed to our proprietary framework built on the Unity game engine, which has become increasingly mature through continuous updates based on customer feedback and requirements.
Our licensed RoT STUDIO products offer a diverse range of VR/XR needs across sectors such as industry, education, healthcare, energy, and municipalities. Companies in energy, steel, automotive, and subsidiary industries utilise our solutions for digital transformation and training under Industry 4.0. Municipalities use our licenses to showcase historical sites in virtual environments. Our products support various applications, including design evaluation, safety, and procedural training. Our R&D focuses on medical simulation, AI-based and spatial geometry-based XR solutions, and haptic hardware. We are developing Visio haptic solutions to enhance realism in medical simulations within VR/XR.
