Optimal Software Maintenance Task Assignment Service

The AI module predicts the top three developers for an issue ticket coming from the ticketing service of a development project. The model must be trained on the data of the specific project to be more effective. This feature is integrated in the CODEE system of FrontEndART, on which the software quality services of the company are built.

Different plug-ins for various issue trackers are integrated in the CODEE system of FrontEndART, which enable the system to continuously collect development related data for a project while monitoring it. This collected data is then passed to an AI module which preprocesses it and an AI model is built in order to "learn" how to assign different tasks to developers. Then, the model is assigned to the project, and is used by the new assignment recommendation feature of the CODEE system to recommend assignments for the open issues. This feature will be used to enhance the software quality services FrontEndART provides to its customers. The recommendation model is also available through an API to enable the customers to integrate the recommendations in their systems if they wish to.

Integration of this new service requires the use of FrontEndART's software quality platform which may involve the setup of certain data collection and processing modules within the infrastructure of the customer's company (required for privacy/security purposes, this way no sensitive data is transferred outside the company). After the setup, the assignment recommendation system is also available through an API in order to integrate recommendation in the company's ecosystem.
