SUI is a method to identify synergies on software implementation level. It has been developed in the context of T6.1 "Demonstrator planning" under the lead of :em AG. The method consists of three steps:
- Writing of user story
- Extraction of functions on user level to fulfill the user story
- Mapping of user level functions to functions on implementation level
In step 3, alternative mapping objectives are in the focus: re-use of existing software components (from WP3 and WP4; highest synergy level), components produced by another system vendor or self-implemented software code.
