Cedrat Technologies

Cedrat Technologies is an innovative SME, part of the Cedrat Group. Cedrat Group activities are dedicated to provide innovative solutions in electric engineering and mechatronic. The first activity of the group is to develop software solutions, such as Flux, the well known finite element electromagnetic software, or Portunus, software dedicated to mechatronic simulations. The other activity of the group, carrying by Cedrat Technologies, is the design, prototyping, testing and manufacture of actuators, motors and sensors using active materials such as piezoelectric or magnetostrictive. Half of Cedrat Technologies’ turnover is coming from piezoelectric systems design, manufacture and sales. To speed up the development phase, our engineers are deeply using the simulation software developed within the Cedrat group.

Once the electromechanical design phase of a given mechatronic system is ended, as most of these systems includes drivers and controllers, we develop standard and tailored solution, allowing our customers an easy integration and configuration thanks to an USB connection and a dedicated HMI. The other half of the turnover is coming from projects dealing with electromagnetic devices, from finite element simulations to manufacture.
