University of Hildesheim
The University of Hildesheim was founded in 1978 and covers a broad spectrum of subjects, ranging from the Arts to technical areas like Computer Science. The University performs research on a number of areas in computer science like: software engineering, intelligent information systems, information retrieval, machine learning, etc.
The Software Systems Engineering (SSE) group performs research mainly in software product lines engineering, requirements engineering, model-driven development and engineering of adaptive systems. More recently AI-Engineering, i.e., engineering for AI-enabled systems (in particular industry 4.0) and using AI in the engineering of systems were added as research areas. The group is involved in various research cooperations, both industry-funded and publicly funded. It, respectively its head - Prof. Dr. Klaus Schmid - participated in numerous ITEA projects like ESAPS, Cafe, Families, Revamp2, EXPLAIN, Genius
