Spikes is a Belgian SME located in Flanders and active in Software Development and System Integration. Founded in 2002 and profitable from day 1, Spikes has achieved rapid organic growth and now has around 45 people active in the company. As a systems integrator Spikes’ focus is on advanced solution architectures for agility and flexibility.

Spikes develops its own product lines for Collaboration Support, Customer Relation Management and Decision Support Solutions under the SpikesTogether brand (http://www.spikestogether.com).

Besides traditional “on-premise” licensed products, Spikes also creates cloud based “Software-as-a-Service” (SaaS) solutions. Examples of these are SaaS solutions for “green fleet management” and “multi-store e-commerce”. Spikes’ SaaS solutions are brought to market through partnerships and joint ventures with sector specific experts.

Typical Spikes customers are well known leading brands within their vertical industries. These segments include Financial Services, Retail, HR, Mobility, Innovation and Security Services, both in the private as well as the public sector.

Spikes Research was founded in 2008 as division of Spikes responsible for strategic, non-incremental innovation. Over the last 5 years Spikes Research has built a portfolio of successful joint international research with participations in several international ITEA2 (ITEI, GUARANTEE, EMPATHIC) and FP7 research projects.
