BACE GO- An integrated sensor, gateway and cloud platform.​

Existing devices for patient monitoring do not provide a seamless experience. They require additional steps in the form of additional monitoring equipment, phone(with a proprietary app) and user accounts. Evalan's gateway takes a different approach. It has been designed to communicate natively with a number of medical sensors. The gateway is able to take a reading when it is switched ON and brought in the vicinity of a sensor. The accompanying cloud solution is able to push the data onto the Medrecords platform without any human interference.

The gateway has been developed to communicate with a number of sensors natively, and in a model agnostic manner allowing the sensor and the gateway to be automatically paired when brought near the gateway. The cloud solution has been set up as a serverless azure python function. The function is triggered when a patient takes a new reading with the gateway. The function fetches the latest data point from mederecord's server to verify that the reading is new, and then uploads the new reading onto Medrecords. The cloud solution is scalable for any number of patients(each having a unique gateway and user account on Medrecords)

The cloud solution communicates with two REST APIs, the BACE API, developed by Evalan and the API of Medrecords e-health platform. The patient is required to make an account on Medrecords portal. No additional account in required to be created.
