Technical features

The proposed substructuring approach significantly reduces the computational burden associated with the dynamic analysis of coupled thermo-mechanical circuit models by effectively managing the models' extensive degrees-of-freedom. By applying the penalty-based coupling scheme and the Lagrangian formulation, reduced order models can be assembled in a way that accurately represent the dynamic behavior of the circuit boards.

Integration of the this approach in Simcenter 3D was done using the NXOpen API.
