SafeCity BV is an SME, committed to developing and supporting innovations to make the world safer and more secure. SafeCity brings science, education, government and companies together to strengthen safety co-creatively.

We use our entrepreneurial skills to organize collaborations between Education institutes, Governmental organisations and Business enterprises to really grow innovations into useful products and services. In this we use our network and our expertise in safety, security in the public and logistics sectors. 

SafeCity is security advisor for the Dutch Police, some fire brigades, the port of Moerdijk, Vlissingen, Borsele and Terneuzen. SafeCity is quartermaster Learning Community AI for Public Safety. 

SafeCity is known worldwide for an invention from 1993. This was a calling computer with which emergency services could quickly be at the right place in the event of disasters and incidents. Currently, many fire brigades, airlines and crisis centers use this system or a copy of it.

SafeCity invented in 2009 a live streaming video app to allow citizens to report when they are in unsafe situations or see unsafe situations. SafeCity won the 2010 Social Innovation Award.
