Ampère Laboratory - CNRS - University of Lyon
Affiliated to CNRS, Ecole Centrale of Lyon, Institut National des Sciences Appliquées of Lyon and Université Claude Bernard, members of the University of Lyon, the general objective of the Ampère Laboratory research is to manage and use in a rational way energy in systems in relationships with their environment. The approach developed is to understand the physical phenomena and to model them in order to design complex systems: this is definitively an engineering approach. From the research point of view, Ampère Laboratory aims at both moving fundamental knowledge on and solving applied problems that have society and technological issues. Ampère Laboratory is at the intersection of three disciplines: Electrical engineering, Control and Environmental Microbiology with a strong will to develop researches at the interfaces, still keeping expertises in these three initial disciplines.
