Vinnova-ITEA Digital transformation Masterclass
Digital transformation - learning from ITEA projects
Digital transition is often seen as a threat for European industries especially for the more traditional ones, while it could be used as an opportunity. ITEA has already supported many projects around this digital transition and in particular:
- ACCELERATE: a platform for the acceleration of go-to market in the ICT Industry
- SCALARE: a database of industrial best practices and tools to support enterprises in their transitions; and
- InValue: data management architecture for manufacturing
ITEA, together with Sweden’s funding agency Vinnova has now set up a masterclass taking advantage of all the knowledge gathered in these three projects. This masterclass will take place in Stockholm on 19 October 2016.
Geared towards your case
This masterclass targets managers from Swedish Industry that are confronted with the digital transition of their organisation, and who would like to learn how the digital approach can be an opportunity to transform their organisation to be closer to their customers. For participants it will be a unique opportunity to meet a set of digital transition experts with a huge amount of industrial experience on the topic. Digital transformation can have many faces. During the masterclass the following topics will be presented:
- New digitally enabled business models and services
- Speed to market
- Digitising manufacturing
Each of the above-mentioned presentations will be enriched with inspirational concrete industrial use cases and there will be ample room for discussion and Q&A. The afternoon of the masterclass will be dedicated to Open Space discussions fuelled by the cases and questions of the participants themselves. All masterclass participants will also get full access to the presentations, reference documents and relevant project publications.
Digital transformation Masterclass - the future
To broaden the knowledge sharing on this topic, this masterclass in Stockholm is envisaged to be the first in a series of events. ITEA is open to suggestions for future masterclasses.
