EUREKA Cluster for software-intensive systems ITEA 3 kicks off with the launch of a new website and magazine

Following the labelling by the EUREKA High Level Group of Research ministries and national innovation agencies in June 2012, ITEA 3 was officially launched on January 1st, 2014. ITEA 3 is the third instalment of the EUREKA Cluster programme ITEA which supports innovative, industry-driven, pre-competitive R&D projects in the area of Software-intensive Systems & Services. EUREKA ‘Clusters’ are long-term, strategically significant industrial initiatives built around European multinationals in a given technological sector. EUREKA Clusters finance and support the coordination of transnational research projects using national and private funds. They represent an opportunity for the best of European SMEs and Universities to collaborate with the continent's leading companies.

The kick-off of ITEA 3 was marked with the launch of a new website and the first ITEA 3 edition of the ITEA <a href="https://itea3.org/publication/download/itea-magazine-17-web.pdf">Magazine</a>. The launch of the new website is part of ITEA’s ongoing efforts to support the community of R&D actors, companies, research institutes and countries active in Software-intensive Systems and Services with high-quality and up-to-date information. The new website is set up to offer quick and easy access to essential information on ITEA projects, how to participate in ITEA and the ITEA organisation, including events, news, publications etc.

The website features a user-friendly design, improved functionality and enhanced rich content. It will be continuously updated and we invite you to explore it on itea3.org. The first ITEA 3 Call will be opened on September 23, the call’s deadline being <a href="http://www.eurekanetwork.org/calls">October 31, 2014</a>.
