AI-CYBER

Adaptive AI for Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence, Monitoring, Orchestration and Countermeasures

Project description

AI-CYBER will develop a cutting-edge adaptive Cybersecurity AI Engine that represents a paradigm shift from static, siloed security systems to a dynamic, intelligent, and orchestrated defense framework. By prioritising effective and efficient AI-powered architectural choices and seamless cross-domain scalability, the project will empower organisations to proactively counter sophisticated cyber threats at an unprecedented scale. The Cybersecurity AI Engine integrates functionalities for (1) trustworthiness enforcement of cybersecurity-related learning data and AI/ML solutions, (2) scalability of cybersecurity solutions with scalable cybersecurity model incorporating on contextual semantics library, (3) enhanced threat intelligence and information sharing, (4) faster and adaptive monitoring, and (5) security posture-strengthening orchestration and proactive countermeasures. By combining these advances with adaptive, distributed (like Federated Learning) algorithms and AI/ML techniques, the solution aims to help operators move from a reactive to a proactive security posture, being better respond to the dynamically changing threat landscape. Adaptive security refers to a security solution that learns and adapts to the changing environment during run-time in the face of changing threats and anticipated threats before they are manifested. Unlike conventional security tools that rely on static configurations or scheduled scans, the engine continuously evolves with the environment it protects.
