Project description
TRUST-SMI is an R&D initiative focused on developing a trustworthy, privacy-preserving, and sustainable AI framework for early detection and prevention of mental health relapse. The project addresses the growing burden of psychiatric and psychological disorders—such as severe depression, bipolar disorder, and cancer-related mental distress—by integrating multimodal data sources (e.g., speech, imaging, wearables, clinical records) into explainable AI systems that support proactive, personalized care.
