University of Hildesheim
The University of Hildesheim was founded in 1978 and covers a broad spectrum of subjects, ranging from the Arts to technical areas like Computer Science. The University performs research on a number of areas in computer science like: software engineering, intelligent information systems, information retrieval, machine learning, etc.
The Software Systems Engineering (SSE) group performs research mainly in software product lines engineering, requirements engineering, model-driven development and engineering of adaptive systems. The group was founded by Prof. Dr. Klaus Schmid in 2005. The group is involved in various research cooperations, both industry-funded and publicly funded. Prof. Dr. Klaus Schmid was involved in numerous research projects and in many industrial transfer projects in various areas of software engineering since 1996. He (co-)authored more than 80 peer-reviewed papers and was also program chair and general chair of different conferences in software engineering.
