DiSCo
Digital Assessment and Intervention for Social and Cognitive Dysfunction in Brain Disorders
Project description
The DiSCo project aims to create a digital platform for assessing and treating cognitive and social cognition dysfunctions in neurological and mental health conditions. This platform addresses the need for early detection of cognitive and social cognition changes, which often precede the onset of these disorders and that predict functional and social deterioration. It includes personalized and targeted cognitive games to provide training specifically tailored to each individual’s impairments and performance. By enabling remote monitoring through internet-based assessments, the platform supports longitudinal tracking of cognitive performance and delivers customized exercises to enhance cognitive and social functioning. DiSCo is designed to support clinical trials and facilitate early intervention, ultimately reducing the impact of these conditions on individuals' daily lives.
