Project description

BASEECS delivers a structured methodology, supported by modelling and open simulation standards, to better understand how cyber-physical systems affect society and the environment. By embedding sustainability and resilience into model-based systems engineering practices, it integrates requirement verification, traceability, and real-time monitoring throughout a system's entire lifecycle. By extending established tools and aligning with standards, the project enables informed design trade-offs and collaborative decision-making. Validated across aerospace, manufacturing, and energy sectors, BASEECS supports the development of systems that are economically viable, longer-lasting, and more resource-efficient.
