In 1998, as NP ISTANBUL BRAIN HOSPITAL (NP) we have set out to raise the mental health level of the community, contribute to the solution of problems related to mental health, provide inpatient and outpatient health services in order to provide the methods and conditions stipulated by contemporary science. Within the past 20 years, we have increased our investments in order to bring the changing and developing medical technology to the use of patients and physicians. We have taken the necessary steps to ensure that our patients always benefit from the latest technology during the treatment of brain functions dealing with the child, adolescent and adult neurological and psychiatric diseases.

NP is the 2nd brain hospital in Europe. NP was established to provide effective treatment services for diseases that affect mental or brain health, with the most advanced treatment possibilities provided by contemporary medicine. The NPİSTANBUL Brain Hospital is a science partner of Üsküdar University. Various collaborations are conducted in technological, academic and scientific fields.

NP is accredited by JCI (Joint Commission International), the world's largest and most prestigious health accreditor. This accreditation is a special document that only three hospitals in the world outside of the United States are entitled to receive. NP is the world’s first accredited brain hospital.

NP has 2000 m2 of laboratory area; Neuroimaging (Cranial MRI&FMRI), Brain Mapping (QEEG), Genetics (DNA Isolation), Neurobiofeedback, Neuropsychology, Brain Stimulation (TMS, DeepTMS, Theta Burst Stimulation), Electro Convulsive Therapy (ECT) and Pharmacogenetics, Neuropsychopharmacology Phase1 (NPF) laboratories that are fully functional.
