SRDC
SRDC Corporation is a research-driven software SME founded in 2007 at the METU Technopolis in Ankara, Turkey, as a spin-off of the METU Software Research and Development Center (established in 1991 with the support of TÜBİTAK and the METU Faculty of Engineering). Most of its staff hold PhD or MSc degrees in Computer Engineering, and the company works closely with the university to bring research results to industry and the public sector.
SRDC has a long track record in European collaborative R&D, with expertise in large-scale software development, interoperability standards, semantic web technologies, data analytics, conformance and interoperability testing, and mobile applications, applied across the eHealth, eGovernment and eBusiness domains.
Its current focus is health data interoperability based on HL7 FHIR, including clinical data transformation, harmonisation and scalable data management. Two of its tools, Repofyr (a FHIR server) and Ignifyr (a FHIR data transformation engine), are commercialised through Pontegra B.V., SRDC's subsidiary in the Netherlands, providing a direct path from research to the European market.
