SentioCura
AI for geriatric and pediatric users at risk for cognitive impairment and learning disability
Project description
Until 2050, the proportion of the world's population over 60 years is going to double approximately. double from 12% to 22%.Today the number of people aged 60 years and older already outnumber children younger than 5 years.
Looking at these numbers two essential issues become apparent: I) There is a pressing need to keep the elderly mentally healthy and cognitively fit to participate independently in daily life. II) We must recruit every possible resource available to ensure our children learn, prosper and grow into our future equipped to face and solve the issues of tomorrow.
Our goal is to provide (1) an AI powered health assistant, which enables (2) screening, early recognition and intervention, (3) engages children and the elderly through gamified cognitive training to ensure long-term compliance, (4) monitors cognitive wellbeing and training progress, (5) assists relatives to keep track and gives health professionals overview on their patients cognitive health.
In order to achieve those goals, we will develop (1) an AI that reliably assesses risks for diseases (ie. Dementia, Major Depressive Disorder, Anxiety, MCI, ASD, ADHD) affecting cognitive and learning abilities combining Symptoma’s AI-powered disease engine and Opsis’ bleeding edge emotion analysis AI, (2) an interactive chatbot dynamically asking further questions and providing a platform for conversation and storytelling, (3) a muitl-domain digital biomarker-based cognitive assessment and training module based upon Woorisoft’s clinically validated AI-based serious games, and (4) a user-friendly web-based interface managing health data optimized for privacy sensitive data sharing.
