Helvar Senses

Project
18033 Mad@Work
Type
New system
Description

The research on IEQ done during Mad@Work has led Helvar to invest approximately €1million in a new sensing platform. The devices are capable of advanced occupancy sensing using audio signals, noise level detection, as well as various indoor air quality measurements like Temperature. This platform is integrated with existing Helvar lighting control systems and its data will be used as an input to various technical features.

Indoor Air Quality Monitoring, Indoor Air Quality Optimisation, HVAC, Lighting Control System
Technical features
  1. Visualisation heatmaps of current as well as historical Air Quality in all indoor spaces.
  2. Recommendations on optimal usage times for various indoor spaces, if the Air quality has an inverse relationship with Occupancy.
  3. Analysis & recommendation of optimal usage of HVAC to maximise energy efficiency and occupant well-being.
  4. Real-time Monitoring and Alerting system.
Integration constraints

Requires Helvar Lighting control system. Data API access, Access to Helvar Insights system.
