- Description
The ceiling-mounted units (ESP32-C6 with double ToF cameras) and the open-source Zenoh middleware keep hardware and integration costs low. This fits SME manufacturers and logistics operators, and the privacy-friendly ToF sensing (no RGB imagery) makes it easier to accept on the shop floor. Human-centric features add market value. Fusing passive ToF tracking with UWB worker tags lets the system know who is in the area and where they came from, which zone they entered, whether they are authorised and how they move between work areas. That opens the way to follow-on services: access control, operational analytics and robot assistance, alongside anti-collision.
