Università della Svizzera Italiana (USI) is a public Swiss university established in 1995, with campuses in Lugano, Mendrisio and Bellinzona (Canton Ticino, Switzerland). USI offers a world-class teaching and research environment with 4000 enrolled students and 25 million CHF of competitive research per year. In the latest Times Higher Education ranking (2023) of Computer Science departments in small Universities, USI’s Faculty of Informatics is ranked second in the world, right after Caltech.
