IFOHRA GmbH is focused on researching innovative and human-centered digitalisation and automation solutions and integrating them into the healthcare industry in a process-oriented manner. In doing so, IFOHRA acts as an interface between manufacturers in the healthcare industry and actual users in healthcare facilities such as hospitals, nursing homes/ or care homes or medical centers. IFOHRA GmbH brings robotics, automation and digitalisation to healthcare in a sustainable way.

As a spin-off of Medical Valley, one of the most dynamic ecosystems in the healthcare industry at national and international level, based in the European metropolitan region of Nuremberg, IFOHRA has built up a cross-industry partner network. This includes the East Bavarian Technical University of Applied Sciences Amberg-Weiden.

The focus of IFOHRA is on value-supporting processes, e.g. material logistics. In this context, IFOHRA has experience in digitalisation and automation projects, patient logistics projects and the reorganisation of clinical material supply. In the future, the company's portfolio is to be expanded to include a healthcare portal. The healthcare portal will offer healthcare facilities the opportunity to find their individual automation solution for their own operations online.

In the interdisciplinary cooperation with the healthcare facilities, IFOHRA attaches great importance to pursuing a joint and clearly defined objective throughout the entire duration of the project, taking individual requirements into account.

As CEO of IFOHRA GmbH, Mr. Frank Zitzmann has a broad repertoire of industry-specific knowledge thanks to his nursing training and his studies in health and social management. Mr. Zitzmann thus embodies the interplay of scientific research work and practical application.
