The birth of Ingeteam came about as a result of the founding of Team (Técnica Electrónica de Automatismo y Medida) in 1972, and Ingelectric in 1974.

From the very beginning these companies grew side by side, with a philosophy based on in-house technology by investing in research and development directed at the industry and energy sectors.

Técnica Electrónica de Automatismo y Medida (TEAM), was founded in 1972. It stands at the heart of Grupo Ingeteam’s efforts in R&D and production of electronic equipment and software.

TEAM provides technologically advanced solutions in the fields of automation, control of electrical machinery and power electronics. It is a reference point for the development of new high-powered energy control equipment, and has worked on major projects all over the world in the fields of industry, power generation and transmission, railways, fluid carrying and shipping.

Continued investment in R&D&i, with over 70 highly qualified engineers and graduates on its work-force and close co-operation with the country’s technology centres and universities, enables TEAM to maintain high standards of technological development.
