ITEA Call for Proposals

The Information Technology for European Advancement (ITEA) Eureka-supported research and development programme is due to launch a call for proposals on 1 March 2001. The call will invite companies, universities and research institutes to submit applications which detail projects concerning software engineering and which will allow for cooperation between different industrial sectors and academic disciplines. The deadline for applications to this call will be 1 May 2001.

A special two day event will also be held by ITEA in Munich, Germany on 15 and 16 March 2001. The meeting is intended to help with proposal preparation and to encourage proposers to make the most of opportunities for co-operation in projects. During the event, the ITEA will also launch its 'Technology roadmap on software intensive systems'. This is intended to act as a planning tool which outlines expected future developments in software technology.
