TUB Optimization Algorithm

Project
16001 SPEAR
Type
New standard
Description
  • Uses a genetic algorithm to find a (near) optimal production schedule for the given request
  • Takes into account, among others, different task modes, variable energy prices and availability, and intermediate resources, including e.g. the SoC of buffer batteries
  • Multi-objective optimization, can be used to optimize for energy costs, total energy usage, makespan, or a combination of those factors
  • Optionally, a graphical UI can be used for configuring the optimization, loading requests, and viewing the results and intermediate steps
