- Description
Modal reduction has been used to include structural flexibility into mechanism dynamics simulation for decades. Real-time simulation sets strict limits to available computational time for each time step, especially in case of flexible structures. Mevea has developed an interface to ANSYS Workbench software that enables the exporting of required initial data to further process required flexibility definition matrices in computationally efficient form. The interface includes visualization of modes to enable mode section and simulation time observation.
