POHTO - The Institute of Management and Technological Training is one of the leading institutes in Finland in the fields of business management and leadership, management of technology and organisational development. The Foundation of POHTO was established in 1972 and consists of the most influential international Finnish industrial companies in the electronics, metal and forest industries.

POHTO develops, in close partnership with it’s clients, the staff competences needed for the successful implementation of business strategies. To make training more effective, various operating simulations which can be customised into models suitable for the participants are utilised in the implementation of the programmes and seminars.

POHTO is active in developing the international business management of companies, both with open seminars and tailored company and consortia-specific programmes. Co-operation is carried out with companies, universities, consultants, and organisations operating in most European countries and many countries outside Europe.
