KAPION is a dynamic and creative company established in February 2002 with the goal to combine knowledge, technology and innovation to create solutions for advanced technologies. Our main focus is joint research, development and consulting on information technologies, communications and natural science with engineering, manufacturing and business practices. On one hand our team has established a successful collaboration with scientists from universities in Slovenia and abroad while on other hand there is a strong connection to experts in manufacturing. Main areas of work for KAPION include:

o Application development based on JAVA 2 platform, including JAVA 2 ME/SE/EE (Micro Edition, Standard Edition, Enterprise Edition),

o Data acquisition and network monitoring oriented research and development – focused on Wireless Sensor Networks – for energy and utility montoring,

o Methodologies and framework development for implementing new communication services by using OO (object-oriented) and other IT-based technologies,

o Architectural design of advanced IPV4 and IPV6 oriented universal networks with advanced capabilities – such as quality of service monitoring, availability supervision, automatic network healing.
