Smart City Business Forum - The road to climate neutral cities



Since 2019, ITEA is collaborating with the Nordics and the Dutch in the organisation of the Smart City Business Forum. This year, the forum will take place on 15 November in Barcelona and will focus on accelerating the drive towards climate neutrality and laying the foundation needed to scale climate-positive innovations in cities.

The Smart City Business Forum will engage key international actors from cities, investment, innovation, and infrastructure in two high-level panels and four dynamic, action-oriented workshops to collaboratively identify obstacles and solutions on the road to climate neutral cities. Key are innovative technologies, their climate impact potential and financing needs in the areas of:

  • Green mobility
  • Sustainable buildings & energy
  • Circularity (including sharing economy perspectives)
  • Digital Infrastructure (including street lighting)

    • ITEA will engage in the different workshops through panellists that are experts, who offer concrete solutions, in the respective thematics. This year, due to COVID restrictions, the Smart City Business Forum has a closed setting, but we will make sure to share the valuable findings with you!
