The Eureka Global Innovation Summit 2022 - GIS2022, hybridly held on 22 & 23 June 2022, in Estoril in Portugal and online, brings together global leaders, decision-makers, companies, and key research organisations from all over the globe to tackle the most pressing challenges of an ever-changing world.

This year, the event is inspired by the Atlantic, its innovations and how collaboration across the region can foster a more sustainable future and by the motto of the Portuguese Eureka Chair "Innovation for a Greener, Digital and Healthier Planet through a collaborative approach". GIS2022 will focus on three main areas:

The agenda is available here and participation in this event is free of charge.

On 23 June 16:00 CEST (15:00 local time), the Eureka Clusters CELTIC-NEXT, EUROGIA, ITEA, SMART and Xecs, organise a EUREKA CLUSTERS SESSION on "How do Clusters generate strong impact for participating organisations and countries, in the field of digital transition?". In this session you will learn about the strong outcomes and impact of collaborative projects, both from industry and on policy makers' sides.

Eureka Clusters will also be part of the EUREKA ACADEMY SESSION, taking place on 22 June from 17:00-18:30 CEST (16:00-17:30 local time). This session will allow you to learn more about the range of support and services offered by the Eureka network, the procedures to follow and how to best prepare your possible project participation.

B2B matchmaking opportunities will be facilitated all along the GIS2022 event, with all participants, including specific delegations from Canada and South Korea.

The Eureka Korea Day will be held as part of the GIS2022. Find your next Korean business partner and register here.

On Friday 24 June, in central Lisbon at the ANI campus, Canada and Portugal jointly host a special event focused on the Ocean Observation and Sustainable Ocean technology sectors, with high level delegates and industry representatives from Canada, Portugal and beyond. Learn more about your future Canadian business partner in this booklet and register for the Canada-Portugal Ocean Networking Day via this link.

If you participate onsite, we invite you to meet us at our joint Clusters booth. We would be pleased to give you more information about the different Clusters and their (common) activities and discuss how your expertise can fit in.

Are you innovative and do you want to collaborate on a global scale?
