Eureka Clusters Programme & Clusters relicensed!

Montréal, 13 June 2025 – At the third Eureka Network meeting under the Canadian-German Co-Chairmanship, the relicensing of the Eureka Clusters Programme (ECP) was a key milestone. Four years after its initial launch, the ECP and its individual Clusters were evaluated and officially approved!
We are extremely proud to have received very strong support from 31 countries that voted for ITEA. A big ‘Thank you!’ to all supporting countries and the Eureka Secretariat for working with us on the ECP. During the Eureka High Level Group meeting two ITEA projects were also presented by participating countries as exemplary success stories. This strong endorsement reflects the continued confidence in ITEA’s significant value for the Community and the impact that is generated by our projects.
With this renewed licence, ITEA can continue launching bottom-up Calls and participating in Joint Eureka Clusters Calls. We remain fully committed to supporting software and systems innovation across Europe and beyond and we already look forward to welcoming you to the ITEA Call 2025, opening on 16 September 2025, in conjunction with the ITEA Project Outline Preparation Days, taking place 16–18 September in Estoril/Lisbon, Portugal. Please join us in celebrating this important milestone and in congratulating our Clusters colleagues from CELTIC-NEXT, EUROGIA, SMART and Xecs!
