100th ITEA Steering Group meeting
On 16-17 April, the 100th ITEA Steering Group (STG) meeting took place at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, where the ITEA Office is also located.
The ITEA Steering Group is the technical brain behind the ITEA programme. It makes recommendations on strategic orientation and is responsible for the initiation of projects, their evaluation and monitoring. It also recommends projects for selection and labelling, and for priority setting and ranking by the ITEA Board Support Group.
Of course, this moment asked for a celebration. The STG members shortly visited the ITEA Office during their break and in the evening of 16 April, they were invited to visit the Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven. The Van Abbemuseum is one of the first public museums for contemporary art established in Europe. The museum’s collection consists of around 2700 works of art and has an experimental approach towards the role of art in society.
The celebration was concluded by a lovely dinner in the museum’s restaurant. We thank all STG members for their valuable support and let’s celebrate STG meeting #150 in a couple of years!
