Estrategia & Dirección (ED) started operations in 1991. Most of its senior consultants came from multinational companies operating in Spain, mainly IBM and Ford Motor Company. The General Manager has worked for 16 years in both Ford and IBM. Today Estrategia y Dirección has a number of more 70 employees, 60 of them consultants with experience in all major business practices. In 2002, E&D signed an strategic partnership with Motorola University for the development and training of Lean/Six Sigma in Europe. From 2005 develops and distributes a business intelligence system “Smile” developed together with Jaume I University. E&D is a professional services company with head quarters in Valencia (Spain), with 14 branches in Spain and Portugal, a representative office in Slovakia and operation capacity in Eastern Europe (including Russia), and joint ventures in South America. The company main activities are: Professional services to companies in Energy Auditing and Management, Strategic Planning, Balanced Scorecard, Innovation Management, EFQM Model selfassessment, Corporate Citizenship, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Quality and Environmental management systems, Health and Safety management systems, Quality Auditors for Spanish Association for Standardization & Certification (AENOR), Training on the above disciplines, including official certification from Motorola University to deliver Six Sigma training & coaching.

E&D group is member of AENOR, Spanish Association for Quality, Club de Gestion de la Calidad, Valencian Innovation Club, EFQM being licensed for teaching Seminars in European and SouthAmerican model. Since its foundation in 1991, C&D has worked with more than 500 companies and organisations in all sectors
