20 new ITEA projects labelled in ITEA Call 2022
On 27 March, the ITEA Board labelled 20 innovative projects in ITEA Call 2022, with a total of 2751 person years and involving 348 organisations from 22 countries. Representing 47,9% of all effort, SMEs are again well represented in this new ITEA Call, followed by the large industry (26,3%), universities (15,4%) and research institutes (6%)
As for the ITEA key challenges, Safety and Security is represented the most with 5 projects, followed by Smart engineering and Smart health, both covered by 4 projects and Smart industry with 3 projects. The Smart Health customer workshop organised in June 2022 has ben very successful to generated labelled projects.
On a country level, Turkey, the Netherlands and Portugal represent the highest effort in person years, followed by Finland, Germany and Spain. We also see for the first time in a long time the participation of partners from the United Kingdom and Switzerland. These two countries have decided to support ITEA Call 2022.
