Demand response program for energy communities considering data sharing
- Project

- Description
An incentive-based demand response program has been enhanced to facilitate the participation of energy community members while adhering to data-sharing restrictions. This innovative approach allows members of the energy community to participate without the need for complete data sharing. Furthermore, the enhancement of the incentive-based demand response program enables the direct participation of Internet of Things (IoT) devices.

- Technical features
A bilateral interaction model has been designed to enable energy community members to participate in demand response programs. The level of data abstraction used for participation is determined by the decision of the data owner, allowing for multiple levels of data abstraction.
- Integration constraints
In order to participate in this program, energy community members must have the capability to monitor, control, and forecast their energy usage. Additionally, a communication network must be established to connect the energy community operator and its members.
- Targeted customer(s)
Energy community operators
- Conditions for reuse
The model has been published using an open access approach, allowing for widespread use and adaptation.
