Modelica benchmark package based on EQUAs IDA District heating application
- Project
- 22013 OpenSCALING
- Type
- New library
- Description
The IDA Districs application is a QGIS plugin that can be used to design large scale district heating and cooling networks and to generate corresponding dynamic simulation models. For the OpenSCALING project a collection of realistic models including both the distribution network and the customers have been packaged as a self contained Modelica package to serve as open source benchmark models for scalability of different Modelica simulation tools and solution approaches. In the IDA SE the component models are precompiled with support for resizable arrays and acausal connections.
