New health standard conformance

IDENTOS has enhanced our existing software products to ensure conformance with OAuth, OIDC and SMART on FHIR. We have done new work to support emerging health standards such as UDAP and FHIRcast. We have also improved our standard integration and ability to protect FHIR APIs -- the gold standard for for health data exchange.

The IDENTOS authorization service and FHIR integration adapter support SMART on FHIR standalone and launch flows. The adapter allows for users in various roles (patient, provider, guardian, systems, etc) to connect to a FHIR API or clinical data repository with a federated identity, maps the user to their access rights to data within the FHIR API, and enforces that access when data requests are made. The authorization services allow for SMART on FHIR application integration and authorization flows

Relying party applications must register as an OIDC client, and complete the SMART on FHIR authorization flow to access a protected FHIR API
