Renewed funding opportunities in Spain for ITEA Call 2024 and beyond

We are pleased to announce renewed funding opportunities for Spanish ITEA project partners participating in a labelled project of ITEA Call 2024, as CDTI launches its first INNOGLOBAL Call with support from the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER).

Spanish SMEs and mid-caps with up to 499 employees located in eligible regions (Andalusia, Castilla-La Mancha, Extremadura, the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, Castilla y León, the Valencian Community, Galicia, Murcia, Ceuta and Melilla) are invited to apply and may benefit from grants covering up to 80% of their project budget.

Fundable activities include industrial research and the development of pilot projects. Eligible costs comprise personnel, equipment/material, subcontracting, general expenses, audit, travel and indirect costs. The minimum eligible budget per company/project is €175,000. Projects must start in 2025 and be completed by 30 June 2028.

INNOGLOBAL 2025 will be open from 26 August to 26 September 2025 (until 12:00 CEST). The text of the Call in English is available on the CDTI website and the Spanish version can be downloaded.

INNOGLOBAL Calls with FEDER funds are planned for three consecutive years. INNOGLOBAL 2025 will be appliable for ITEA Call 2024 labelled projects, while INNOGLOBAL 2026 will be appliable for ITEA Call 2025, etc.
CDTI expects to open INNOGLOBAL 2026 in March 2026 for projects of ITEA Call 2025.

We hope these improvements will further strengthen the position of current Spanish participants in ITEA and encourage more Spanish companies to join future ITEA Calls.
