ITEA Panacea Gaming Platform spin-off Kids Digital Health™ launched at virtual event

The Uncomplicated Family Group celebrated the launch of Kids Digital Health

On 2 April 2020, The Uncomplicated Family™ hosted their first-ever global, virtual launch event celebrating the Kids Digital Health™ platform dedicated to providing parents and caregivers access to gamified apps and tools proven to have a positive impact on children’s health and wellbeing.

Introducing Kids Digital Health

Kids Digital Health is a commercial spin-off of the Kids DigiHealth Network for special populations that was a result of the ITEA Panacea Gaming Platform (PGP) project. Over two years of international cooperation and technology investment led by Canadian-based digital health company The Uncomplicated Family (TUF), resulted in the successful completion of the Panacea Gaming Platform. This was followed by the launch of the Serious Gaming platform by TUF Founder and CEO, Robyn Woods, with the goal of supporting special populations and those with disabilities around the world. The newly launched Kids Digital Health platform is a subscription-based content service for kids that provides parents with a trusted source for apps and games that engage their kids while helping improve their brains through neuroplasticity.

Kids Digital Health

First-ever global, virtual launch event

The virtual launch event for the Kids Digital Health™ platform united leaders, communities and families from across the globe that join in this digital movement. All of them could tune into this conversation surrounding the changing public health landscape and the digital age of healthcare, led by experts from all over the world.

Conversation with global perspectives

The virtual launch event and fireside chat featured speakers from Canada, USA, Belgium, South Korea, France and Turkey, showcasing the importance of global, collective action when it comes to the future of digital health. These experts brought their global perspectives to topics ranging from research, engagement, technology and data, clinical validation, accessibility, safety and international collaboration.

Robin Woods, who was also project leader of the ITEA Panacea Gaming Platform project, was one of the speakers at the event. On behalf of ITEA, Chairwoman Zeynep Sarılar and Vice-chairman Philippe Letellier shared the importance of international collaboration and R&D incentives. “It is important to have access to different cultures and knowledge bases to create a global solution,” ITEA Chairwoman Zeynep Sarılar highlighted.

The virtual launch event was the beginning of a series of thoughtful conversations for everyone to participate in.
